Our talented owner, who's a stylist and certified, color specialist believes in taking a more natural approach to hair care and color whenever possible-all while providing our clients with a top-notch experience.

Because we care about our impact on the planet, we power our salon with clean, solar and wind energy from Clean Choice Energy, use an energy efficient washer and dryer, and energy efficient lighting including LEDs and CFLs.
We are delighted to carry Eufora haircare and hair color products.
All Eufora products meet the most rigorous standards in formulation, utilizing Certified Organic Aloe along with nearly 75 different natural plant extracts and essential oils, all of which are classified as renewable resources and considered biodegradable.

Kate aka Chroma K8 is the owner of Chroma K8 Beautique, her passion for hair started as a child growing up in the south suburbs in the 80s.
Curling irons, braids and hair spray became part of her everyday life.
She attended Aveda Institute Minneapolis, graduated in 1998 and moved back to Chicago.
In search of a strong foundation and education she landed at Michael Anthony Salonspa.
After finishing their color training program, she later served on the creative and education teams.
In 2006, she moved on to Red 7 Salon where she helped develop the color training curriculum.
