KG Hair Design, a Farmington hair salon (formerly Mary Krystyna Hair Studio), has been in operation for over 60 years.
Previous to this, Mary Krystyna was called The "Wig Shop" until the 1980s.
Currently, the salon is owned and operated by Kate Hajjar, stylist and owner.
The salon specializes in mens' and womens' hair and is still accepting new clients.
Located at 7 Brickwalk Lane, Farmington, CT, the salon is a 1752 historical building in the historic Brickwalk Lane Association.
Kate has had an interest in hair since her teens and attended Oliver Wolcott Technical School for Cosmetology.
