The owner and founder of Hair By Shima's Beauty Salon LLC. I am a black owned business. I started doing hair as a little girl. Watching my mother do my sisters and my hair is what started my styling. Funny but true story I was about 6 years old when I told my younger sister to sit on the toilet so I could do her hair. As you know I had no training but I was still going to do her hair, by the time I was finished not only was her hair cut but so was (our) pajamas, doll hair and I couldn't forget about my own hair.
We looked fabulous until my mom walked in fussing what are you doing? That was the day I told myself I was going to do hair. I haven't stopped doing hair since that day. Styling my hair for school turned into me styling my friends hair for school as well. Which has lead me to having my salon and it is only up from here. I had a wonderful experience with Shima.
She made and appointment for me on short notice and I appreciated that with my busy schedule I definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking to get their hair done she is great made me feel like I was at home thank you shima for the wonderful job you did.
