Le Shop Nail Salon is a neighborhood salon that has been owned and operated by Kim Demaline-Fichtel for fourteen years. It is located in the Four Corners area in Silver Spring, MD. The Salon is licensed and follows all Maryland State Board sanitation requirements. Le Shop Nail Salon takes pride in offering only spa quality products but at half the cost to men and women.
Le Shop Nail Salon does not provide acrylic nail service. We use gel polishes by Gelish, OPI, and Shellac. Kim, the sole nail technician at Le Shop, began her career working at Woodmoor Hair Design, which was owned by her mother, Lee Demaline-Creamer. Along with doing manicures and pedicures, Kim helped her mother by providing apprenticeship to other nail techs and managing the salon.
These experiences led Kim to open Le Shop Nail Salon in 2000. For five years, Kim serviced clients at a local luxury salon & day spa and has translated this experience to Le Shop. She specializes in natural nail care of the feet and hands.

Services
This manicure begins with the removal of any nail polish then nails are trimmed and shaped, as needed.
Nails are soaked in a warm water bath to help soften cuticles.
The cuticles are gently pushed back and trimmed, if necessary (we make it a point to cut as little cuticle as possible).
Next a soothing hand massage is done using a softening lotion.
Nails are then thoroughly cleaned and nail polish is applied or nails are buffed to a high shine.
We recommend that you plan to sit for approximately 10-15 minutes (or longer) after your manicure to allow the polish to set.

The perfect pedicure for those who are too ticklish for a regular pedicure or for those who need only toenail care.
We start with the above steps then apply lotion to the foot, legs and toe nails are cleaned, polished and buffed (if needed).
Along with what's included in the Mini Pedicure, Le Shop Basic includes; callus removal using foot file, sloughing lotion used on feet, apricot scrub on legs and feet, toenails are buffed or polished.
This wonderful pedicure uses product from Creative Nail Design and includes; alpha-hydroxy sea scrub to break down calluses, Magnolia-scented Sea Salt Scrub for feet and legs, a cooling peppermint masque and a relaxing foot and leg massage using a massage oil and "Cucumber Heal Therapy" which is an intense callus treatment.
We start with the above steps then apply lotion to the foot, legs and toe nails are cleaned, polished and buffed (if needed).

A fee of $10 (per half hour appointment time) will be charged for appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

A standing appointment is when a client has the same appointment scheduled either weekly or bi-weekly at the same day and time.
There are several benefits to having a standing appointment; regular maintenance of your nails, the convenience of not needing to constantly schedule appointments and knowing your appointment is secure so that you can plan your schedule/activities accordingly.
