I began my creative journey almost 35 years ago as a graphic designer for various design studios throughout the Detroit metropolitan area, moved into cosmetology thirty years ago, and never looked back.
I apprenticed at Gerald's Salon in Franklin, and continued there for the next several years.
During this time I went to London to attend the Vidal Sasson Academy, which was the best thing I could have done.
It seemed tedious at the time, but the discipline they teach was well worth every hour spent to develop and refine my haircutting skills.
