Popi's of Aurora is owned and operated by mother-daughter duo, Popi McMichael and Bella Robinson. Father, Donnie McMichael, also joins the team to expand their services to include teeth whitening; see Services for the next upcoming event date. Popi started her training in 1982 and through hard work and dedication she swiftly moved up through the industry.
During her travels across the country with Paul Mitchel and Tony Ina (Ina Perm Rods), she also trained in Toronto and California at Sassoon Academy. Popi has worked behind the chair for over 35 years, creating new looks for each individual client. She believes that education is the key to being successful in this industry. Drawing on her many years of experience, she mentors and shares her knowledge and skill with other stylists.
Since 2013, Bella's passion for hair has become a reality. At a young age she was giving helpful beauty advice to friends and family. Her natural talent has evolved into a desire to make each person that sits in her chair look and feel their best.
