My name is Katie Burns and I've been an independent stylist since 2006. I have always had a love for transformations and bringing to life clients visions of who they could be. There is a magic and confidence that comes from changing your look! My love of hair began at a young age when I learned to braid my own hair. From there I did my friends hair for all the high school dances and "fixed" other girls hair through those nights when it was falling down.
I strive to always have a growth mindset in life, and my work behind the chair is no different. I'm always taking classes across the board to take my skills to the next level both in hair + business. Making sure you have a top notch customer service experience is one of my priorities as a business woman.

Katie is a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist, working behind the chair since 2006.
Originally trained in upstate NY, she has pursued many continuing education opportunities over the years.
Some of these include courses and certifications at the REDKEN Exchange, DevaCurl Academy, and Temptu Pro Airbrush Makeup.
She is a Certified Redken Design Stylist, Certified Temptu Bridal Artist, and a DevaCurl Inspired Stylist.
In the salon, Katie specializes in hair design and color, as well as bridal services including formal occasion hair styling and makeup.

During your consultation, we will discuss your hair history, goals and create a customized plan to get you there!
The consultation fee will be applied toward your first appointment if your reservation falls within 4 weeks of your original consultation appointment.
These techniques are for clients who have a some sort of curl or wave pattern and wear their hair primarilycurly.
NOT ideal for clients who often blowout or straighten their hair.
MUST arrive with your hair in a dry, wash and go state with minimal product/leave in conditioner as this allows the stylist to see how the various textures naturally fall and mold the desired shape from there.
