I have made it my mission to improve the lives of those struggling with unwanted facial and body hair by providing exceptional hair removal service in a professional and soothing atmosphere. Electrolysis is the destruction of a hair follicle with a controlled amount of electrical current. A very fine needle is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle.
Then electrical current is directed to the base of the follicle, causing cellular destruction and ultimately stopping the ability of the hair follicle to produce another hair. Hair growth is caused by hormones and blood supply. Heredity and certain medications can be a contributing factor. Hair growth caused by hormonal stimulation can be caused by changes in the body during puberty, pregnancy and menopause.
Skin damage is unlikely with electrolysis under normal circumstances. There will, however, be some slight skin reaction during treatment that may remain visible for 1 - 2 hours afterward. This is normal, and will vary from one individual to another.

Electrolysis is permanent, just not immediately permanent.
It is a hair removal treatment that takes a financial and time commitment but you will end up with results you will be happy with.
Electrolysis is not immediately permanent because hair grows in cycles.
Within your hair follicle are hair germ cells that sustain hair growth and depending on which phase your follicle is experiencing (growing, transitional or resting phase) is more/less receptive to electrolysis treatment.
Results can be seen within a few treatments - hair grows back finer and takes longer to regenerate.

Ask a woman about her daily beauty routine, chances are some form of hair removal will be part of it.
The first recorded history of women removing facial hair was by the ancient Egyptians.
Historians state women used a method called sugaring which is like modern day waxing; in which a sticky substance was applied to the skin; a strip of cloth was pressed on top and quickly removed.
Today, women have a wide variety of options available such as waxing, plucking with tweezers, sugaring, threading, using depositories and have electrolysis or laser treatments to remove excess facial hair.
