Shaar Salon is located in a semi-residential part of Petaluma, just East of the downtown area. It is a lovely, quaint, two chair salon built in the 1970's with modern interior and upgrades. It is currently home to three experienced hair stylists. Each stylist works independently and offers a variety of services and products. We recommend booking in advance to ensure our availability.

Katherine Wolf graduated from beauty school in Hollywood in 1985.
She worked for a few years in the Los Angeles and Century City area where she received extra training in the Vidal Sassoon curriculum before moving to San Francisco.
During Kathy's 10 year career in San Francisco, she became Goldwell certified.
In 1997 she relocated to Sonoma County and has worked in Petaluma ever since.
She chose the name Shaar for the salon because in her spare time, she teaches and performs traditional Egyptian dance.
