In 2000, I came to America, met two great Houston hairstylists and trained under them for three years.
Those were tough times because I didn't make that much money.
What motivated me, was that one day, I could start my own business and be a hair stylist.
After a couple of weeks, I started getting calls from my clients since I had already been on maternity leave for a while.
They were telling me they wanted me to do their hair and it didn't matter if they had to come to my home.
Business started picking up and traffic got too busy to handle at our home, so we leased some space at Tuscany Village.
